GRAVITY ASSISTED WATER TRICKLATING IRRIGATION SYSTEM
Maturing plants in the UrbanPONICS GrowPOD receive water and nutrient via water stored in each patent pending Dual Pore module via Deep Water Culture technique. For aeration in the water reservoir, in a scheduled format water from cultivation tanks is supplied in the top rows, which eventually trickles through each stacked rows via Gravity to be collected back in the bottom Drain Gutter and ultimately in cultivation tank (circulating system).
Energy is being consumed only 3-4 times in a day to pump the water from cultivation tank to the top row of Dual Pore modules. Rest is done by Gravity maximizing the energy efficiency.
SDHV – AIR CONDITIONING:
GrowPOD is equipped with Small-Duct High-Velocity Air Conditioning (SDHV) systems which utilizes high pressure to achieve thoroughly mixed air, creating maximum cooling, or heating.
GrowPOD maintains an ideal growing environment with a precise airflow management system that regulates temperate, humidity, CO2 and air circulation to give 365 perfect growing days.
NATURAL LIGHT:
GrowPOD is first of it’s kind to offer Natural Light coming through Triple Glazed European Skylights in the Cultivation Area for maturing plants to only let Daylight enrich the plants during the day-time minus the heat/cold outdoor temperature.
