Iceberg Lettuce

Iceberg lettuce at our UrbanPonics farm has fresh green leaves and grows in cabbage-like bulbs. The texture is crunchy and flavour mild, making it a very good choice for salads, snack shredder or as a garnish in sandwiches. It compliments well with our other types of lettuces contributing a pleasant crunch.

It has high water content compared to other lettuces. It’s low in calories, cholesterol-free, extremely low in sodium, and it provides important vitamins and minerals that support overall health.

It is also known as Crisphead lettuce.
